It has been a while since our last release update (thanks to accounting courses and my full-time job).
One of the first projects I had in mind were completely interchangeable combi-weapons. If you are anything like me, you magnetize your army to save money and headaches.
One of the best options out there for imperial armies is combi-weapons. Alas, combi-weapons are very rare in any plastic form, and the ones you do see go for thier weight in gold.
Enter the Chapterhouse Studios Combi-weapon Magnetic kit.
As you can see, it is a standard weapon stock and barrel (could be a bolter, could be a heavy MG), we designed some useful tracks and grips so the different combi-weapon parts will fit nice and smooth. To add to the ease of use, we also have holes pre-drilled and include the correct size rare-earth magnets with the kit (5 total).
So in essence we have: 1) base ranged weapon 2) flame thrower attachment 3) grenade launcher attachment 4) plasma gun attachment 5) melta gun attachment 6) 5 rare earth magnets to fit in predrilled holes.

As you can see I now have a power fist armed scout sergeant who will never have to be stuck with the wrong weapon in the wrong situation.

After doing some price research I think we should be able to sell the kits for $5.00 each. Consider that most shops sell the combi-melta alone for anywhere in the $5-10 range and our kit is a much better buy.
You can find them listed under 28mm Weapon bits.

Alright!
After a short wait, we have shots of the completed Bone Swords and some Spinal whips. Both come in monstrous creature size and a smaller warrior size.
Also not that both arms are represented here!
These are going into production ASAP and I will have them up for preorder as soon as I know molding was successful.

Spinal Whips (great for Xenomorph Tales)

Guys we just released 2 new alien head sets. One is great for representing Ymagrl stealers the other is great for modding your bugs to look like xenomorph "Aliens".
Both sets are selling out faster then I can order them, so get them while you can.
On another note, I recieved this email today.
"games workshop is gonna sue the crap out of you if you dont go below the radar with your casting project, I'd sell em on ebay or some jeez man what're you thinking?? casting your own models of GW copywrighted material is grounds to rip you a new anus, legally speaking."
I do not know what concerns me more, that the common hobbyist is so uneducated about legal law but insist on telling us what is legal and not.
Or the fact that a certain large miniatures company has pretty much brainwashed much of its fans (and many forum admins) that its illegal to make parts that can fit on their models.
I want it on the record that all our parts are sculpted and created by our sculptors. Even our shoulder pads are 3d designed and created from scratch by us.
No company can copyright the idea of a shoulder pad... or a U... or a arrow with numbers.. Many of our symbols are similiar to other companies, but there is much interpretation in our works, and nothing is a copy.
Further more. Do a little trademark research before you think you can not use the word Space Marine™ or any of the chapter names on your website. These are or may not be copyrighted names, used in written text, this does not mean you need permission to use such text. The same goes for trademarks. As long as you are not claiming that they are official Space Marine™ bits, or saying that they are from a certain company, you can use such language according to the IP laws in your country. Please, consult a lawyer for the laws concerning such matters.
So do a little research, talk to a lawyer, read a bit, before you buy into all the legal hoopla on a certain companies "IP Policy" website.
If you have any questions, I recommend you talk to a licenced attorney as we are not attorneys or offering any legal consul. |

Hello guys and gal,
The Jetbike Seer Council kit

This kit has been completed by the sculptor and is in transit to me for final approval. Once it arrives and passes quality check it will be molded in resin (and maybe pewter). This is a complete kit with arms, legs, torsos, heads, weapon options and bike accessories. All you would want is the Jetbike model to add to this. There will be a Warlock and a Farseer kit to choose from. They will have options for a sword or spear.
Estimatated time for this kit to hit production is 2-3 weeks. I want the price to be in the $14-17.00 price range.
I wanted to give you all an update on our new and upcoming 28mm conversion bits.
Firstly, we have 2 new shields available for sale for $2.00 each on the website.
The much anticipated Celtic Shield, it is 28mm scale, its less bulky then our previouse shields so best suited for regular power armor. It is lightweight white metal and comes with a seperate spiked knuckle guard.

The second new shield release is perfect for all you Space Wolf players out there. Its a Techno Wolf Shield (good size for terminator armor).

Also up, is a new generic Power Hammer, also in 28mm scale. Does great things for fantasy or sci-fi conversions. This is available for $1.50.

I have also updated the Fleshtearer - sawblade and jewel shoulder pad photos:

Lastly some news on the upcoming Ymargl Genestealer heads and Xenomorph Gaunt heads. These are being molded this week. Our price point for the Ymargl Genestealer heads will most likely be $6.00 for a sprue of 6 white metal heads (3 different bits). The Xenomorph heads are going to be $6.50 per sprue of 6 resin heads (2 different bits).
The reason we went metal on the Ymargls is that they have some slender parts that wont survive resin casting, they also have a nob to allow easy glueing to the bodies. The Xenomorph heads have no pertrusions for glueing so need to be resin in order to be usable.
These will be on the site next week and if you are interested in preordering feel free to email me at

Boneswords and Lashwhips
These are being sculpted this week, and will be molding in 2-3 weeks. Price point is 2-4$ a set (pewter).
I dont think I forgot anything so enjoy! |

Welcome to a new update!
I just added two new Rhino conversion kits to our product list. One is a Mark I conversion kit. This is tailored to you old school players. Remember the old rhino from the late 80s-early 90s? This kit lets you make the current Rhino look like the old one! It has doors, engine grills and 2 choices for the front panel, very cool.

The next kit is a snake themed rhino. We added spears and shields and snakes to this kit, it looks perfect when painted up as an Iron Snake rhino.

Next up is an armored Drop Pod panel. This is VERY similiar to our "Armored Rhino conversion kit". Looks great in armies that use our MK I Heresy pads.

I also just got in some very nice shoulder pads with sawblades on them as well as some shoulder pad size "drops". I can not help but think if you glue the drops onto the "sawblade" shoulder pads these would be perfect for some "Fleshtearer" Space Marines :). These pads along with a plain tactical arrow pad will be added to the site in the next few days. Also the Upgraded Predator armor kit is in, I just need to photo it.
One last news bit, we have replaced all the numbered shoulder pad, salamander rhino kit, salamander landraider kit and the armored rhino kits' pictures with some awesomely painted ones.

Next update should include some much-anticipated xenos bits (some space-elf or eldar as well as tyranid looking bits).

The crew here at Chapterhouse Studios wants to wish everyone Happy Holidays!
I came home from work Christmas Eve and there was a box waiting for us from some fat jolly guy (Santa?!).
Inside were some new sculpts and kits! (Apologies for no pictures, will be coming up after the Christmas Rush)
Celtic Round Shield
Rhino Conversion Kit for Iron Snakes - 8 piece
MK I Rhino Conversion Kit for the current rhino - 9 piece
Saw blade (with separate gem in shape of a water drop) and Tactical Icon Shoulder Pads for Space Marines - works great for fleshtearers and other saw-blade chapters
As well as quite a few resin templates for us to sculpt on!
Upcoming Releases
Conversion kits for a Farseer and Warlock Jetbike (with pilot and accessories for the bike)
Feeder-Tendril Head bits for Tyranid 'Gaunts and Genestealers - maybe perfect for the new Ymgarl Genestealers?

Female Head bits for Space Elves - Eldar and Human Imperial Guard

Along with a mess of conversion bits for Tyranids, Marines and Imperial Guard.
One last sad note.
We wish to give our condolences to the family of Jon Wilson - aka Brimstone of Warseer.com. While I may have my issues with the Warseer admins and owners, this is very sad day, and even sadder that it occurred so close to the holidays. I wish him well on his journey and pray for his family. Vaya con Dios Jon.

Happy Holidays to everyone and I hope no one overdosed from too much Turkey!
Today I sent off a few pieces for molding, hopefully they will be ready for release in December.
PEWTER KITS
First up is a regular "tactical" arrow shoulder pad, somehow we forgot this pad when we were doing our numbered "tactical" "assault" and "devastator" shoulder pads. This one completes the set and will be a unnumbered arrow. MSRP $1.00
The next shoulder pad is a saw blade shoulder pad. This pad will have a serrated saw blade as the central icon. Very handy for Flesh Tearer marines. MSRP $1.00
We also have some small pewter drops. These are handy bits for jewels or as blood drops. Great to glue onto marine torsos for Blood Angel chest or you can combine them with our saw blade shoulder pads to make a Flesh Tearer icon.
We have a Celtic storm or combat shield coming up this month as well, that has plenty of space for a freehand icon or a decal. We will use this shield as a template for many future shields (look for 2 Wolf shields in a month or so that will look good in Space Wolf armies). MSRP $2.00
RESIN KITS
In the resin area we have some nice conversion kits coming out.
We have an Armored Predator Space Marine resin kit coming out. This will be a heavy armor front panel (with your choice of center or right side driver compartment). Also this kit will have reactive armor plating that can be glued and cut to size for adding to your favorite Predator Tank. MSRP $8-9.99
Next up is the MKI Space Marine Rhino Conversion Kit. Do you miss that old MKI Rhino look, but only have MKII rhinos? This kit has the front panels, the side doors as well as the vents to make your current Rhino kit look like the old Rhino from the early 90s. MSRP $16.50
We are releasing Armored Droppod Panels. These are totally different then our Salamander Droppod Panels in style. The style is very similar to our Armored Rhino Kit, and it will be the canvas for some future Droppod kits as well as the upcoming Wolf Droppod kit that will look great on Space Wolf Droppods. MSRP $3.00 each
Last but not least is an addition to the Snake accessories that work so well for Iron Snake space marines. The Iron Snake space marine Rhino kit, this is a 8 piece conversion kit for the current Rhino kit. It will have a front panel, 2 side doors, a top hatch and 4 pieces of scaled armor. Great for "blinging" out Iron Snake, Alpha Legion or any serpent or chaos Marine armies. MSRP $16.50
Look for photos and an update on the listing for these in 2-3 weeks. |

We have recieved all our bits with the exception of the braziers, since the Land Raider kit contains these parts, any orders with a Land Raider or brazier will be shipping out Friday and Saturday. I appologize for the delay.
All other orders will ship out ASAP or on the regular shipping day (monday) if the order just came in this week.
We finally have the new Land Raider for the Salamanders and an updated Rhino kit available.

Also is an armored Heresy Era Rhino kit and MK I Thunder Armor Shoulder Pad.

Last and Definitely not lease are the urgently needed Numbered Tactical, Assault and Devestator pads!

These have the arrows used to denote the different squad types, but we went one better and had Roman numerals added to the pads as well, these follow Codex Astartes and are numbered 1-6 for Tactical, 7-8 for Assault and 9-10 for Devestator. NO MORE DECALS! |

I was fortunate enough to be present at Bell Of Lost Souls Convention 2009 this weekend. I had a blast and the Salamanders 3rd company did very well, we even took best painted army for 40K. I did well in the tournament going 4-1-2. Not too shabby with never playing with this list. The army was drooled over many times, I think the bits helped alot with making the army look good. Below are some nice shots another player took of myself playing against Thomas-Goatboy's Ork Hoard.

I have been thinking hard about this. We currently have a 3d Designer and a Greenstuff sculptor on staff. We get bombarded daily with sculpting request and commissions and we have tons of marketable ideas as well. Unfortunately we dont have enough manpower to get the ideas done!
So this is a general call for an experienced sculptor, pay will be on a per project completed basis.
Requirements:
1. Ability to sculpt a broad range of subject matter, from inanimate armored figures to faces and body parts in correct proportions. 2. A portfolio of sculpted figures and I would prefer someone with the ability to draw good concept art as well. 3. The time to do sculpting in a somewhat steady schedule. I appreciate that this will most likely be a part-time job, it is my part-time job as well, but I need someone who is able to stick with a schedule and take the jobs seriously. 4. Good communication is a must, I send emails and phone calls out daily (and IMs) between my customers and my co-workers.
I consider it a huge bonus if you are in the US, and extra credit to being in Texas or the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Anyone interested in joining in on an enterprising and growing company feel free to send a description of your skills, experience as well as pictures of your work. send all emails to

Thanks and hope we have some interested parties out there.

Just got back from vacation and there were some greens ready to be sent in for production.
We have a couple of new hammers, some nice Lion shoulder pads and the return of an awesome Salamander Droppod Door Panel that fits over the regular door.
We also just found an awesomely talented 3d designer to help render up some new pad ideas and vehicle parts.

I'm so excited. I just got our first resin special character delivered! OK OK, hes not really a complete kit, but he does look awesome all the same. You guys will have to provide a base, left hand weapon and a backpack if you want. I will be posting him this weekend as an item for sale. If you look above, you will see a dragon marine photo, that's what the kit can make!
I have also recieved the first pewter cast of our dragon jumppacks, 6 new shoulder pads, 2 of which look awesome for use on blood raven space marines.
I also received the prototypes of our dragon droppod door panels, I think they will have to be made thicker as there is a lot of fragile areas where they can easily break. I have 10 door panels available if you guys want to order them, I will list them as well, but there will be a disclaimer on their condition. Honestly I think they will look great painted up and assembled, but they are not our usual caliber of quality so they will be redone.
The shields are being produced slowly, that's why there is a wait on them. The Salamander Land Raider accessory and door kit is almost done. My sculptor will be sending photos to me this weekend, I cant wait to see what hes done!
Keep checking back for photos and new information.
Sincerely,
CHS -
